It's not wheel bearing and tie rods causing reverse tire rub. The a arms have bushing in them and they flex when vehicle weight is changed when going forward or reverse. Even mine does it randomly on weird angles and such.
Yes the level kit will fix it and make it look better! Measure the fenders before ordering but I'm almost positive that the 1.5" will make it match perfect.

Great thanks for all the help guys. I jacked it up last night, no play in either front wheels, both spun fine without noises. Tie rod ends looked like they have grease and functioning normally. Sway bar links looked ok, prolly replace them with all the other stuff at 100,000 miles. I'll post an update with pics when I put the kit on. Probably should have read up on offset before I bought wheels 
Put a 1.5" level kit on last week before thanksgiving. Wheel rub is all gone. Put new sway bar links on when I was in there. Riding smooth now. Having a snow storm now, so pics will have to wait a bit, but it looks good. Thanks for the help

Mine rubs in reverse as well.......no issues with the wheel bearing or tie rods. I'm pretty sure other people rub in reverse only as well. Maybe some others will chime in. Mine is dropped 2/3 with 305/35/24.
With 305s on any sort of drop there will always be a little rubbing because of how wide the tire is. I'm a 295/35/24 fan myself but a lot of ppl love the looks of 305 more. With a little trimming or molding of the plastic should take care of the little rubbing
