yes i realize hes talking about the electric fan and just like a fan clutch it still activates by one basic variable and thats heat

thanks everyone, I was just curious if it was normal. seems like for texas it is. my nnbs sierra the fans dont kick on that fast, or at least I dont hear them, the ones on the yukon are loud.

Mine come on almost as soon as I start my truck and are also very loud.

My fans come on at 212° and off about 197°
In the cooler months, they never come on unless I have been sitting in a drive through a very long time.
In the summer, 212° is a little to low, I need to have it changed in my tuner to come on around the 218°-220°
