Are order statuses updated in real time when you ask the customer service bot on GMC.com? Or, is it daily or weekly?

Ordered at 2023 Yukon AT4 with the 5.3 amd a few other things on 11/2.

Has it actually been accepted ? If using chat make sure you get a real person for accurate info. Make sure to have your order number.

No. Autobot only says dealer submitted, not accepted by GMC.

Ok then there is nothing to check really until that changes to accepted. If you have a order number which you should since they submitted ask the chat bot for an advisor. Then ask the advisor for an update. Most likely it will be same status as bot.

I'm also wondering the same thing as OP. Are status updates made daily or weekly? Wondering how often it is worth my time checking with GM chat.

orders only update on thursday

That isn't entirely accurate ..... allocations are sent out to dealers on Thursdays. Allocations need to be used/submitted to GM's order system from the dealer by 2pm saturday (i believe, not 100% confient).

Event codes can change throughout the week, after an order has been submitted/allocated/accepted (code 2000)

Asking your dealer to inform you of your "spot in the order line" and how many allocations they have been receiving lately, will give you more clarity on when to expect your order to get picked up for production. Also depends if you have the higher demand/lower production items (diesel, max tow, etc) on your order, which can cause longer delays.
