Hi All,

2 things;
I have a 2024 GMC Yukon XL Denali
1) Where is the fuel control module located?
2) What scan tool can I buy to program/diagnose/etc this truck? (for example my Benz I have a laptop with Xentry on it and Vediamo which lets me flush the torque converter, or make 5 blinks on the turn signal, lower the air suspension, etc), is there a tool that I can buy that allows me deep level access?

On the SUVs, the fuel pump driver module is on driver side near the rear of second door. It is mounted to frame.

If you want a bidirectional tool they are north of $300 for good ones. For deep level access and some very basic programming overrides, etc...this is what you need. Autel is a popular brand. They have basic bi-directionals starting at $300. You can get some up to $3500. There are other brands in this space: gearwrench, innova, thinkdiag, etc...

However if you want to get detailed diagnostics with data logging then OBD fusion app combined with Veepeek OBD BCheck BLE is a plug in module that works with the OBD Fusion app very well.

I have an OBD + Link plug in that works ok as well.

The plug in bluetooth scanners run between $30-$50 and have lots of features beyond trouble code scanning.
