where to get hids installed in minnesota

Technically to have HIDs you must have projector housings and auto leveling. If you added denali projectors you would still be short auto leveling...but its really not a big deal as the projectors will keep the light from scattering.

autolevelling is not and never was a requirement for legality.

being originally supplied with HIDs is.

I was always told auto leveling was...not that I care much, I've never really been one to follow the letter of the law. Anyway aftermarket HIDs are so commonplace now I would really doubt anyone would hassle you.

it was made mandatory in Europe some years back, but not here.

ok ok i get it should be easy to do in the garage just wasnt sure how true the PnP part really was. Now that you all think Im a sally how about a good place to order them and what is a good brand and what k do I want.

no, I've just been around a while. I remember when an HID retro consisted mainly of finding a mk VIII and stripping the bulbs and ballasts off it. They were essentially 9006 spec HID :)

+1 or when doing hids on an s10 involved going to a junk yard and popping the hood on an audi

im looking for info on where to get hids installed in mn or a better bulb i can put in my 2005 yukon. any ideas?
