Well, I thought I had it figured out, but I'm stumped again.
Installed what I thought were 2nd design heads today and went to bolt them up with a 2nd design Fel-Pro (ES72220) bolt kit and literally came up short. I'll be ordering 1st design (ES72173) bolts as the set for the cracked heads grab.
Can anyone clear up the massive confusion surrounding this topic? I now no longer know if I have the "better" design head lol
Is it more based on what block you have?
