Hi guys!
I have a 2000 5dr. tahoe. I wanna swap the original Delco kasette player with a single din unit. Im going for the Clarion NZ501E. In the stereo shop the guy told me to get a "little black box" to use between the Clarion and the cars wiring harness. He told me that GM routed the signals to the message center through the Delco, and if i just left the wires I wouldnt get warnings like low oil pressure and stuff. He had four options for theese "black boxes" and asked which sound system i have. How can I find out if I got a Bose, Bose premium, Bose premium with onstar or just onstar. I dont know the difference, and Tahoes are not that common here in Norway, so the stereo guy didnt know either.
Anybody here who knows how to tell the difference?
