Hello All,
thanks in advance for all your help.

I have always been a german car guy and because of boat towing necessities had to buy a truck. That was is now an dead old Nissan Pathfinder. It served me well, except for space. I now want to purchase a Tahoe or Yukon in the 2010-2013 range and about $27,500. FYI, I live in south Florida. I have 3 kids, two dogs.
I need the following items
Leather
Towing Package
Xeon or HiD headlamps
NO NAVIGATION - if possible

I like the look of the no roof racks of the police Tahoes. That is my style of truck. No off-roading.
All high-speed, highway driving.

So, what advice do y'all have for me?

Download the carfax app and enter your criteria.

A LTZ or, SLT or Denali (6.2) can be had with all those option. The HID will not be a oem option on these models, but any aftermarket shop can install that, or you can order some pnp kit and blind everyone.

i guess the question is which of the models are right for me.
I see some have AWD, some RWD or switchable 4WD.
I also like the larger wheels.

thank you again

Also, is it true that the Yukon has a larger engine with quite a bit more horsepower???

Yukon Denali has the 6.2L and AWD.
Tahoes and Yukons for the most part will be 5.3L 2WD or 4WD.

For instance, my 07 SLT greystone is the 5.3, black leather, sunroof, towing package, 3rd row seats, and I believe came with 20"oem wheels (24's were on when purchased).

I'd say definitely go for a Tahoe PPV. My first one was a '99 and I loved the rake, slick top and how well it handled for a truck. People tend to move out of your way as well. Your budget will get you a minty fresh one too. I just won an '08 with 106k on it for under $8k. A '12 with 86k miles went for just under $15k this evening as well. Living down here I saw little need for a 4WD and I want the speed and handling of PPV, not SSV (4WD).

Autoanything.com has a hitch for the PPV for $120 to your door right now and a set of leather seats can be picked up from a local yard easily down here in South FL.

Great price, where are you finding them for so cheap?
