Whine coming from engine?

hey guys i need some help figuring out where this noise is from.
Here are the specs,

2006 tahoe 4.8
Throttle body spacer
Flowmaster exhaust on stock y pipe
Pretty much stock engine wise..

I know its not the steering pump because its a whine with the idle not while turning the steering wheel. I thought maybe the tensioner bearing but i dont wanna change it yet because it might not be it. But the belt is brand new so its that rules that out lol ill will post a video of it, please help me out! Maybe the alternator? Tia

What brand/type of throttle body spacer and intake is that? Ive never had one make a whistle/whine but ive heard its common with some brands.

Its not the intake noise, it just started the other day. The intake is a spectre and the tbs is a air raid, but like i said ive had them both on for a long time and know that noise but this noise almost sounds like the alternator whine or something

My power steering pump does it drives me ******* nuts. It's rpm based not steering so I only hear it when I accelerate.

Mine to I will have to buy a new unit or put on a strap jacket..

Auto parts stores etc. have automotive stethoscopes that are very handy for finding out if the whine is related to your alternator bearing (first choice), idler bearing, water pump, tensioner. Believe it or not, once in a while a belt with structural problems will cause a whine, sometimes even when new (not as likely as other causes). Try the stethoscope.
