I have a friend in Oshawa Canada that just put his to bed after 587,000 miles and bought a 2006 "new one". He loves it because he is close to 7" tall and spends a lot of time in it going hunting and fishing.. Not sure of all the repairs but I know it was on its 3rd engine. He bought his new one for $14,000, with 110,000 miles on it. To him that is new. By the way his has good access to parts, Oshawa is where the GM plant is that makes them and almost everyone in town works there with big lunch boxes.

Bought it late 2010 with 149K miles, now has 181K.Was dealer maintained for most it's life, bought it from a Chevy dealer.

Just after I bought it, the driveshaft snapped when my GM mechanic did a "test drive" !! Had to drive 150 miles but scored one off craigs for $80 !!! Most has been little crap, AC/Delco plugs/wires,KYB front shocks, oreilys lifetime brake pads,k&n OEM square filter, diehard battery,NEW GM "updated" steering shaft.

but my luck has ran out,Looks like I now need to replace speakers, belt tensioner and pump/fuel sending unit. :(

2003 Yukon SLT. Just hit 220k. Bought it with 189k in June 2010. I keep doing all kinds of preventative maintenance because I don't know what has been done before. Runs like a champ though.

275k on my 2003 tahoe, 5.3.

Runs like new.

I put a new (well, used, from the junkyard) trans in it at 230k. (original 4L60 lost 3rd/4th gear) Only other "big" problems were a front right wheel bearing, ABS module, and transfer case encoder motor. The front end (tie rods, pitman, idler) is starting to get a little loose, but at 275k miles on factory-original parts, what do you expect. The original shocks are also completely wasted, just have to find time to put on these new rancho 5000's ive had sitting here on the shelf...

Never touched anything on the engine; all original save for oil changes. Trusty old LSx small blocks...they literally need zero maintenance, you can hammer the crap out of them, crank them up to 3x the hp the stock short block was designed for....and they just keep going!
