2001 tahoe 265K

265K on my 2001 LS. Bought new. Transmission went at 160K. Wife had major crash when Taxi driver ran stop light here in Minnesota. small amount of rust starting. just put in new battery. things are beginning to fall apart. what to do next. I am hoping to just fix it. Not worth much on trade.

235ish, rebuild the tranny, replaced some parts that would normally be replaced. No issues at all, still runs great and strong.

I have an 05 with 197k. I am actually on the site today searching for answers to a problem that just started today. Im sure many have experienced this but no power assist in the steering at low speeds.

You find an answer to this? I've had this happen from time to time.

I just bought a 2001 Tahoe LT 2wd with 217,000 miles off of my Dad. He just picked up a 2015. Other than a couple rattles, worn seat, and a blown subwoofer, it looks, feels, and drives like new. I'm hoping to run the odometer past 350,000.

Were they hard miles/pull a trailer/boat often? Makes me worry about mine, if I should go ahead and throw more money in my car fund. My last car was 2001 Tahoe LT and tranny at 140k and engine was still running strong at 213k when I sold it...I'm a daily driver almost all hwy miles and dont pull anything behind me.

Rolled over 200k this month. Engine leaking oil too. Anyone know where I can get a decent L33 for a good deal?

I have a 2007 with 236,000 miles. Still drive it 50 to 100+ miles a day and take it 2 to 6 hr away once a month. I have had to replace the front hubs on drivers side and passenger side , fix a 4wd switch, and have a front bearing that has gone bad. Other than that it is doing fine.
