If you do, write it up and show us all. I'm thinking that all you have to do is maybe gut it, maybe put a plate, like a piece of plastic over the mechanicals and an interface coming out the back.

Thats not hard. It looks like someone gutted it stuck a dock inside and built it to where it goes in like a casset and i guess ejects like one aswell

Yeah gzes, that's not difficult at all.... . If I can recall, it's in a truck on cardomaim . com. I also remember some pics on how they did it. Somebody posted it on this site a while back.

Pretty neat. I have a tape deck on my stereo. Be kinda cool to be able to integrated iPhone that way while driving.
