Who turns on both A/C front and rear when riding alone or two people what is correct way

I very rarely turn on my rear a/c unless someone is back there. The front one has been on constantly since I bought my Tahoe. I set the front at 70. On long trips I drop it down to 68. I really should turn on the rear a/c more often when I get into it to cool it down quicker.

Tint and a sunshade on the windshield really make a difference when sitting out in this jungle heat. I use the sunshade everyday all year long to keep the sun off my dash and leather.

Both all the time. As others have said, ac blowing out the front and hot air on the back of my neck is not comfortable. (Vica versa in winter with hot front cold rear)

Windows down and roof open to let the bass out.

Fur reel, dough, I never gave this a thought and just turned the rear A/C off if nobody was back there. Leaving it on to cool the whole cabin makes good sense. Now I'm gonna have to sit in each seat, do some Manual N calculations and optimally aim each vent.

Both, all the time. I have turned off the rear before but everytime I hit "auto" the system re-engages the rear system too, so now I just leave it.

Summer in Florida, if I have to park all day under the Sun, I unlock, then open the rear hatch, driver's side-passenger door then driver's door. Start truck. Then close doors & hatch. ( Much of heat is out)..

I then use front & rear blowers. Shortly after I turn off rear blower.

I love my Weathertech rain guards to vent heat.

( owner's manual actually suggest to open windows for a bit, when first turning on A/C )

Mechanically wise on the A/C pump it wont make a shred of difference since it runs the entire system if it is on. There is no valve or control to make the Freon not go to the rear, it makes a loop thru the entire system when it is on. all your doing at the hvac control is turning electric blower motors on or off and adjusting the temp via the actuator door angle. The A/C pump runs 100% no matter what you do at the hvac control. At best the auto climate control turns the A/C pump off when the commanded temp is reached and then turns it back on as needed to maintain the commanded temperature.
