This. First, you're looking at the most balls out model, of course its going to have everything. Second - 60/40 is not the preferred, second row buckets are. Third - If you dont want the 22's Im more than positive your dealer would be happy to keep them and swap with some 20's (of course at the 22 price). Fourth - Add an aftermarket trans cooler. It will be better than what GM has to offer anyway. And tow hooks are cheap - just bolt them on.
GM isn't around to cater to just you. They cater to millions and millions. I cant go to Samsung and ask for a green framed TV when all they make are black. I don't mean to be a dick but is what it is.
Let’s get something straight. I have custom ordered every truck I have bought from Chevy sans the first. Over the last 3 decades I’ve ordered over 20 of these trucks. I did not want Chevy to create a special option just for me. I want a premier with a few available options and the 6.2 engine. I did not say I wanted an rst my way. I just don’t like that I have to buy all the items in the enhanced premier to get the engine. The engine is available, it’s a production item and as long as I take a sunroof, I can have it. (I realize I can change wheels and tires). I did not ask for anything unique or made up for me. There are plenty of people that wanted the engine without the extras. And while I did not expect to see my speced out truck on any showroom lot. It saddens me that I can’t get the only important option that many people want.
