I'm not a fan of them one bit. Cops here are so **** they ticket you for any single thing. Modded might know if he has ever driven through Highland/University Park.

I am all for ticketing people with HID's though.

Well, everyone has their opinions on them. My goal with HID's is not to have the brightest lights on the highway and blind everyone. I just wanted something with more visibility. I've seen some people who come looking like the sun but mine aren't really that bright.

Seems like everyone where I live has them in their trucks, and I have seen some much brighter than mine. Can't imagine what they spent on them.

they probably have real projectors that come from the factory, if they are any brighter than yours. I know the lincoln navigators 04+ have projectors and hids from the factory. I wish the tahoes came with factory hids because they would be legal then and the cops couldnt be a dick to you then. I havent had any problem with my HIDS and i have had them in every car i owned even including the big 4x4 with a 12 inch lift on it. Projectors control the way the light is disbursed, unlike the non projectors the just blind all over the place.

My Mom's 2006 Navigator had HID's but it didn't have projectors. I think the 2007's and up do though.

I have seen a very limited amount of vehicles with HID's from the factory that didn't have projectors.
