Will these speakers fit?

Well I have 1st hand experience with those Kickers and they suck. I havent heard the MTX ones but by the looks and the price Im guessing they suck as well.

If that is your price range then I would get these http://www.ebay.com/itm/RE-Audio-RE...d=100005&prg=1088&rk=2&rkt=4&sd=400650655776&

I have used those before and for the money I dont think they can be beat. I currently have some 6x9s of those in a 85 c1500 and they sound great.

Well you want a full clear vocal and midrange, as well as midbass if you listen to anything other than rap. If all you listen to is rap then yea I agree with you to a point. Either way those RE Audio speakers will blow away those kickers unless your looking for harsh vocals and tweeters. Just my opinion. I have had many different speakers and brands over the years. The pioneers in that price ranger aren't too bad.

The (REX65) is the cheaper version, I have not personally heard those but those that have owned them seem to be hit or miss whether they like them or not.

The (RE6.5FR) Are a little more expensive and appear to be a beefier speaker. I have used the 6.5 version and was really happy with them. My uncle has the 6x9 of those and they sound great for their price.

I currently have these (RE6.5C) http://www.ebay.com/itm/RE-AUDIO-RE...802559268?pt=Car_Speakers&hash=item5401822524

Overall for $100 Component speakers I love them. Of course I have heard better, but they cost twice as much or more.

The pair. Believe it or not the tweeters are larger than stock. They just have a smaller mounting plates. I mounted the crossover to cover the stock tweeter hole, mounted the tweeters just under that. I'll take a picture and post it Monday.

As of now they are not on a amp. But thanks to one of our members I will be getting a Rockford t400-4 to power them. I can't wait to hear them once on the amp
