I have to replace the bumper cover on my 2017 Tahoe Premier due to an encounter with a deer and I'd like to change it to the style of the Z71 for better clearance/off-road performance. Is there any reason this wouldn't work? I confirmed the '17 Z71 has the park assist sensors like the Premier but there is some question whether the Z71 bumper allows for the adaptive cruise control to function properly. Thanks

Bumper cover should fit no problem, fogs may be different and as far as i know the acc mounts to the frame rail where a tow hook should be on the passenger side. Not sure if the z71 has fender flares and if it does the z71 cover may not look right without the fender flares

Edit : no flares so imo it’ll fit fine and ACC should function no problem

Exactly the same to my eye... I don’t see a problem with acc either.... even though i hate it and wouldn’t mind converting back to reg cruise...

Thanks, appreciate the input. I agree about the adaptive cruise control, I'm not a fan but I do want the sensors to work for forward collision/park assist.

it should all fit you may have to cut the trim for the drivers tow hook to fit the acc module into the rail slot being the plastic shroud sits back further due to the tow hooks on the z71

I had the same insistent this past weekend while on a family road trip in New Mexico. Are you attempting this yourself?

No, there was other damage beyond my skill level so was done by a shop. It fit but I'm having issues with the Front Collision System, Front Radar and adaptive cruise control. They work intermittently - after about 20 minutes of driving I get alerts that pop up on the driver info center saying "Forward Collision System Unavailable" and "Front Radar Blocked."
