Need suggestions on a good trick to stop the window squeak/squeal when rolling up and down the driver window. I don't want to remove the entire door to grease the rails. Is there a simple solution I can do to the felts that contact the window? I was thinking a q tip with some vinegar and water.

Is your door panel on correctly. If it isn't it causes a squeal make sure it's sitting in the groove of the rubber seal that sits on the inside of the door.

If it is and it still squeaks use sil glide on the metal tracks clean them with a wet rag with some degreaser first. This will last a couple of seasons.

how about WD40, spray on exposed window channel and roll up and down, repeat as required.

I'll look into doing this.

I'll check but pretty sure it is.

Had the same problem here. The squeak is louder the colder it is out. Did 80grey's suggestions and all seems to be fine now. Thanks!

Just bought my truck and it has that same squeal. Please let me know if anyone has a picture of what they did to fix it.
