Woman took my car... civil issue... trying to get it back

My wife passed in 2011. I still miss her every day. I have looked for another mate and I have had women say they were looking too and want to date me. I have tried and tried but I am a very very very slow mover when it comes to my heart. I hear all the stories of break ups across my self storage office counter. I am very weary of ALL women. Some women that I thought had potential for me walked away because I am so slow to make the leap. So many of them change overnight when they think they have their claws in you. I know some of them see I pay no rent and no utilities and am in an upscale neighborhood and those seem to be the fast movers. I am no one's sugar daddy. Plus, at my age, the ones I am interested in are older as well. It seems the younger they are the crazier and more evil they can be. I am a patient man and will remain that way because I don't want to run in to the women like Nate and Tony describe.

The more and more that the entitled masses want and demand that they get for free and get their way, the more and more crazy evil women there are.

I have HOPEFULLY done just that as I have been this slow in relationships and entered with eyes wide open for 9 years. It amazed me that women that I knew, when my wife was alive, came out of the woodwork with a shoulder to cry on and then came the "let's go have drinks" and saying "you need someone to take care of you" or "let's go to the coast for the weekend"...etc.

I wish there was such a thing as zero drama. My mom told me that any new woman must go through her. I'm not allowed to date them until she meets them. :O

From the sounds of it I am sure your mother will make a better choice... lol Mine was often right when it came to the women I dated or married...

You're a good dude Mark. I was married twice--both were evil, but one was wayyyy smarter then the other--both were manipulative. I had custody of my 2 from my 1st marriage, through the courts. She was actually supposed to pay child support, but I never got a dime. Think she ever got locked up for non support?? NOPE! But let that be a guy who doesn't pay. Second ex wife was pure evil--and knew what to say and do to manipulate the courts, and police to her benefit. Anyway, my life turned into a bad country song. Lost everything--including my kids, my son I had with her( so 3 kids)car, house, job and freedom. All I'm saying is you're so lucky you had a lawyer and judge who saw through her bs finally. Good for you! I really hope everything works out for you and your daughter for the long haul. Lots of father's who want to be there for their kids, and who want to do the right thing, can't because the courts rake them over the coals, either because of evil women or inept council.

They all do my friend...they all do! Second act, same as the first. It's the playbook from Hell and they've got it down.

I have an opposite batch of memories..... One long-term gal .... We would enter a restaurant and some people would ask for her autograph..... She wasn't famous..... But she was S M A R T , B E A U T I F U L , A heart of gold, and a wonderful parent to her kids. We are still friends....
