Woodgrain for Tahoe console armrest

pretty sure these pieces come apart. just GM doesn't SELL them separately. Sorta like the pretty chrome rings on the Escalade/Denali door panels. They do come off, but GM doesn't sell them alone.

Of course it will take all of five minutes for me to get the answer by phone ...but I do enjoy these guessing sessions so!

wow. i just stumbled upon this.

the way the denali one is, the valley of the latch is still textured plastic ONLY under the mat.

the mat comes out.

Actually T I went ahead and ordered/bought a matched woodgrain armrest tray latch and I will send them mine back when I get it. So obviously that part separates from the pleather armrest ... the question is how?

on the bottom of the console lid, there are a number of screws and then there are some screws under the mat.
