Dammit guys...thats $70 out of the 88-98 K1500 fund.

Chris, the guys name at oemdash.com is Brad and he's a good guy ...
Problem is that they're relocating shops for the next month and they won't be taking any more orders in that time frame. Apparently mine is the last one to go out. Maybe you can give 'em a call and see if you can get an order in before the close up shop ... if not it might take a few weeks to get it from them. I'm sure there are other shops that do this, I just don't know of them.

No see I'm actually just coming out of one of many recent loritab induced comas, had a deviated septum straightened yesterday, other sinus components removed/repaired behind my nose, and my tonsils removed. I couldn't place an order right now if I wanted to. It'll have to wait. :banghead:

But do please post pics of yours when you get it!! And I'm sure I won't be far behind.

Actually T I went ahead and ordered/bought a matched woodgrain armrest tray latch and I will send them mine back when I get it. So obviously that part separates from the pleather armrest ... the question is how?

Did you get the woodgrain armrest tray latch and how well did it match the OEM woodgrain. I contacted OEMdash and they said it would be close but what is close? Since it is near the woodgrain on the cup holders and other trim it seems it would be an obvious mis-match if it wasn't spot on or at least very very close.
Thanks.

They do. :)

One thing that was really weird about it was that there were two little bubbles where the screws are supposed to go in to underneath the armrest. But my plastic one that I took out is flat underneath. So unless someone sanded them down from under the tray, which would show above it and probably crack the coating, the front of it would not recede all the way in and pop up at its front.

I'm thinking there must be a couple of different oem designs for these things and in the core swap I might have gotten one that was taken out of a Denali or something.

But yeah it didn't work ... and I didn't really want to pursue it further as the woodgrain color didn't match to begin with.
