Would this take my Denali out of Certified Preowned status?

They have another certified preowned car with 12k and the air conditioned seats like I wanted. "Hey I'll trade you cars for lying to me and not fully disclosing the condition of the car"

Turns out that the hood, bumper, and front passenger fender were all repainted at one point (over $500 worth of damage) meaning it should've been on the Carfax... hopefully it'll get bought back.

SW CT,
Did you not look the vehicle over before you bought it?? By what you are describing now it is quite obvious that it has been repaired. Next time it looks like you should take your buddy along with you next time you by a used vehicle.

I did look it over, but it's hard when it's dark and overcast. Plus there is so much damn wax on those things when they sell them to cover up scratches, etc. Oh well, go go carfax?

The chip in the headlight should have been a big sign something was messed up.

Yeah they said carfax was going to have to buy back the car... if not carfax I'm sure they'll be screwed because they certified it and didn't thoroughly go through the inspection

Can anyone get a picture of their belt/pulleys? I have some hose connections that look new, and some look rusted (almost like a battery terminal on its last legs)

well, if carfax is going to have to buy the vehicle back, then they should go ahead and give you the money back and then let carfax reimburse them since they are the ones who ran the report to complete the sale. sounds like they are starting the whole blame game already.... goodluck getting a dime from them.

They offered me $400 less than what we paid for it if I trade it in to them... so put on 3500 miles for $400.

Do it!

If you are not happy over this, could be $400 well spent. My $.02.
