Dylan does have a good point. But these trucks are actually cheaper to work on than a newer truck. I would still get it if its in good condition as the seller says it is.

As for the 11,000 lbs of brick... It might have towed it well once. The 2 door is nowhere near a good 'tow rig'. A tow rig is something that can haul stuff constantly, not once. haha! Put that 11,000 lbs of brick behind it and drive around with it for awhile and your asking for trouble.

Ok so out of curiosity what's the most weight that the OBS Hoe is actually safe to tow? Assuming electric brake controller cuz the stock brakes barely even stop the truck itself. Haha. And would putting an extra leaf or air bags increase tow capacity or is it limited by the tranny?

I can guarantee yall when i bought my 70,000 bricks i made multiple trips with my hoe and trailer and it towed em good. Definately didnt run 2wd tho and i didnt have to drive far but it easily pulled the weight no problem. Add a leafs let the rear handle more weight but really gonna depend on rear end gear ratio and how beefed up the trans is. Mine was built for towing and the engine was also rebuilt

so brakes have nothing to do with towing? I doubt your hitch and rear axle are rated to tow 11k.

that happened to me dozens of times on the search for my first car. I'll see what I can do to get out to look at it before someone else. Hopefully the 300k will deter some people from buying it.
