yellowish film in oil fill tube??

:wtf2: So there is some yellowish film in the tube that goes to the top of the valve cover and also in the back side of the cap too? Any thoughts as to what it is/whats causing it? Any problems it could cause? My first thought is antifreeze but not sure.

It's just comdensation. Pretty normal actually.

what he said, i wouldnt worry about it. its the vapors/condensation that builds up. wouldnt be a bad idea to change your pcv valve if our trucks even have them.

x3 Any time water interacts with Oil it turns a milky brown to almost yellow in color

...and the reason it's a yellow color is because of the condensation mixing with the oil so it gives that ugly yellow color.
