Just like the guy who sits behind the parts counter in Houston getting lectured by his boss about doing something right - you should know there's more than one way to do something and do it right Dale. A guy doesn't need a GM part or a GM verified body shop God to get something done to his GM vehicle.
I'm sure the guy with his seat from a Cobalt can easily find a creative way other than swapping his cobalt cab onto his S10 frame using stock GM bracketry to get the job done and done correctly.
