What was the issue and resolution? I was driving yesterday and noticed I couldn't accelerate, the car forced into neutral and put an error message that said "press start again". I coasted to a safe place and tried to start the car. At that point, nothing came on except the aux, the engine wouldn't start or even turnover and it was stuck in park and the message said "conditions not correct for shift".
Mine did this same thing this week. What was the issue? Mine was towed to the dealership , but no word as of now.

Same thing happened to my 2021 Yukon this past weekend. Was driving and without warning, the engine stalled. It shifted itself into neutral and I coasted to the side of the road. When trying to start it back up, it just clicked. It was towed to the dealership who has since found that the fuel pump control module failed.

2023 Yukon Denali Ultimate - Was driving home from work and it just stopped running. Had to coast to the side of the road. Aux power comes on; however it wont start, doesn't do anything and can't shift out of park. Being towed to the dealer. Anyone have this problem before or thoughts on what it might be?
I have a 2021 Yukon Denali with roughly 70k miles and this is now the SECOND time that my engine shut off while driving on the interstate in the past 3 months. The first time I had that sensation that the car was running out of gas when I went to accelerate. After about 5-10 sec of that, the engine turned off but the electronics stayed on. I coasted to the side of the road and tried multiple times to start it without success. The engine sounded fine while turning over and over but it would never start. That episode turned out to be a bad fuel pump control module and after roughly $200 at the local Firestone auto repair shop I was on my way (FYI, they didn't diagnose it, I learned that was the likely problem by reading these forums and basically demanded they replace the FPCM). Now, here I am about 3 months later and it did it again. The only difference was this time I had zero warning. No sensation of running out of fuel or funny noises from engine. I just went to give it gas and nothing. Had a warning on dash saying push button to start vehicle (once again, the electronics stayed on when engine shut off). Coasted to side of road and battery seemed to be good but engine wouldn't turn over. Had it towed to shop and am being told I will likely need a new engine!!!!! There's a class action lawsuit being investigated for this issue.... https://www.classaction.org/gm-engine-failure-lawsuit
