Have a buddy that just did the swap in his garage into his 99 chevy pickup. It had the 5.7L vortec. I looked at it and it looks superb! Just do everything right and ask questions and read forums over at ls1trucks.com. Buddies truck is freaking awesome now! Lowered, and rockin 20's with a borla exhaust, and ofcourse the z06 corvette motor. Smoked a vette with it the other day. Beef up the motor before you put it in. Like a cam and such.
