Just got an offer via eBay msg for 29,500. Honestly I'm shooting to get 32k as so kindly suggested by Timmy :)

You guys think 32k is a straight price?

I think 32k is reasonable but if a week goes by or it's not sold by the end of the weekend I'd consider the 29,500 offer if it was me

Get the buyers contact info. Tell em you wanted $32K but will meet him at $31K. $1500 is chump change. Take it!

Yea but when kbb is 33,3k and cargurus.com is even saying 36.3k and I just spent a SHIT TON of money modding the car, i'm willing to see what offers I can get within the whole week it's for sale rather then take the first bite i get... it's only been up for 2 days now : /

And if the week goes by and no one else bids I definitely will message him again. I just can't take the first offer right now when the car i'm about to buy is going to cost more then 29,5... even with the car allowance i'm still gonna try and make some $ back from someone that enjoys mods as I do.

What your leaving the rest of us geeks??? What is the new career if you don't mind me asking?

I'm leaving the IT World because unless you work for yourself (like you do Yates), the glass ceiling is just too low. The job is going to suck but the pay is worth it to me to get my foot in the door. It's for a LWD/MWD Field Specialist and all the pre-req is that it requires either a technical, engineering, or geology BA/4 year degree. All the work is based on training that you have to go to and then you just go on jobs in whatever region you work in... mine being the rocky mountain region. I figure I might as well stack paper while the baby is young. By the time the my future kid goes to school, I will be back in an office/8-5 type job but for the next 3-5 years i'll be gone a LOT and it's gonna suckkkkk (being away from home that is...). Another good thing about TYF... I can move but TYF is always around :Handshake:

I took a job working for a company :insane: the self employment isn't very steady money and would either be so busy I couldn't keep up or sitting on my ass.

I've never been one that liked traveling that much and being away from the kids. When they're young is when they're the most fun and nothing like coming home each day to screaming kids cuz they are excited to see you :D I think it depends on what part of I.T. you're in but I make a pretty decent living as a programmer and will make even more when I break into the management side of things :)
