    LS 4x4 payload

My 2021 Yukon Denali w/6.2 and mid-level features is 1483 payload. 1848 is 365lbs more. Do you have the 5.3 (maybe it's lighter)? or maybe features can add 365lbs? I understand a Diesel engine can take away 400lbs because they're much heavier. Interesting for sure, and I'm following...

Magnetic v. Air Ride - noticeable difference?

My 2021 Yukon Denali has Magnetic Ride only but the rig is perfectly nice riding for a large vehicle. My 2004 Cadillac SRX has auto air leveling - and I'm assuming a Yukon with air also has auto-leveling? It's the auto-leveling that I miss.

Denalis stopping while driving- class action suit?

You're right - there was a significant (20?mph) headwind and it's a 5400lb cargo trailer - basically a square box and the drag greatly increases as the wind flow speeds up - so maybe 65mps + 20mph headwind is like trying to do 85mph and still accelerate? Was a steep (at least 6% grade), many...

Denalis stopping while driving- class action suit?

I've used "Regular" (87 octane) in my 2021 Yukon Denali 6.2L a couple of times. First couple were before I read about the higher compression / engineering that makes "Premium" (90+ octane) strongly advised for proper running. I also found that I could not make it towing a trailer from...

    Are Yukons/Tahoes reliable?

I have a 2004 Cadillac SRX AWD V8 (Northstar) with 175,000miles. It's required A TON OF REPAIRS over the last 20yrs - but it's only 'stranded' me once when I overloaded it towing. Plastic T on radiator overflow hose blew. So far I've had running boards that failed to deploy due to a small...

    2021 Yukon xl

1.5yrs ago I bought a used 2021 Yukon Denali. I took it to a local auto-shop for an inspection because everyone says this is good to do and... I'm glad I did even thought they didn't find anything major it's another set of eyes. They did find a minor oil leak on the transfer shaft coming...

Towing a rv with a 2019 Tahoe Premier

Great advice to make sure hoses are in good shape!. Prior to getting our 2021 Yukon we towed with a 2004 Cadillac SRX (NorthStar) V8 with 327HP. Power wise it was great but we had hose issues. There's a small (3/8"?) hose from the radiator cap -> engine -> fluid reservoir. There's a...

    Service Suspension System message

Yes sir, thank you for mentioning it - we visited the restaurant at Fort Rock a year (or 2) ago and learned about it and it's on our bucket list! We love "Silver Creek Marsh Campground" (10miles south of Sliver Lake) and want to plan a stay there with evening at Dinnertree which we...

    Service Suspension System message

The worst I've done (so far) is go out to Virgin Valley Campground and nearby Opal Mines off Highway 140 - about 1/2 way between Lakeview OR and Winnemucca NV. Driving the mile (or so) from the campground to the little canyon view point there was sage brush that brushed the side of the car...

    Service Suspension System message

After weekend camping out in the Oregon High Dessert and 20F lows, my 2021 Yukon Denali with 59K miles showed the "Service Suspension System" on the console. I pointed the shop to this thread and it seems to be right on as far as the repair needed as they said it looked like a 'stick' or...

Trailer brake missing on my 22 Tahoe

I bought a used 2021 Yukon Denali that didn't have a controller. I added a Curt and the knob goes where the OEM controller would have gone and works A-OK. Unfortunately it's not integrated with vehicle software and you don't get auto anti-sway? (not sure how effective that would be) but that...

    Coolant temperature fluctuations normal??

Another thought. Fans are electric these days. Our 2004 Cadillac SRX started overheating in stop-go traffic (big city interstate type stop-go) but would be fine the rest of the time, back home at smaller city traffic. Turned out it was the fan not running at low speeds but fan was running...
