I have a 2WD Yukon XL that needs and engine. It has a 4L80e with about 80k miles on it.

I'm almost positive the cover wasn't standard in any gmt800 Tahoe. If you wanted it, you had to order it. I could be wrong, but I don't think I am. Nice find on the cover. Very hard to find. I actually have a spare, but it's light tan, and I have the pewter interior.Found a 63 inch cargo cover on Facebook Marketplace for $80. In perfect condition and works perfectly. It’s a shade darker gray than my interior but I’m so happy. These shorter Tahoe cargo covers are hard to find and usually a lot more money. The longer 66 inch model for Suburban and Yukon XL are easier to find.
Does anyone know or remember if LT Tahoes back in 2001 came with the cargo cover as standard if you got third row seats? I am the second owner of my 2001 LT Tahoe and I know the first owner well. She swears she never got the cargo cover when she purchased the Tahoe. I know that the cargo cover doesn’t work with the third row in.
If you don't mind me asking, what city are you in, and about how much is your painter charging you. Because here in Northwest Louisiana, most shops don't even wanna touch a full paint job, and the ones that ARE willing to to it, want between 7k and 11k to prep and paint it. I can only afford about 2500-3000 right now, and even if i could afford more, I couldn't see myself paying 7k for a paint job. But I'm not looking for show car quality either, but i would like at least "new car" quality.
I've seen them everywhere. Especially on Amazon and Ebay. You can get them with heated mirrors, turn signals, and even puddle lights and markers lights all built in. You might have to run wires for the marker lights or puddle lights though. Every 2003-2006 is "pre-wired" for the turn signals though, so that part should be plug and play.Am I the only one who didn't know they made these? Always thought I would have to go to the junkyard or aftermarket ones which cost too much money (for me)
Has anyone bought these?

"Paint Correction" is a thing, and typically runs about $3k-$4k. You could also do a wrap. Finally, you could get a cheap job (Maaco) that needs to be redone every few years for a few 100 dollars. If you don't mind me asking, what city are you in, and about how much is your painter charging you.
