Heat gun idea was the fix. The curved areas are less rigid than the rest of the mats so I assume it’s going to come back. I don’t sit in the back so it won’t bother me as much lol

After buying my 2019 I binge read this thread. I wasn't going to do any mods, but you know how that is. Here is my first one... installed tow hooks. Not sure if I am going to reinstall my front license plate holder and drill through the new fascia. If anybody wants the old fascia for fog lights, it's free for pickup in the Dayton Cincinatti area.

Are they just the trim pieces to hold fogs?

It is the plastic fascia (that black piece). Part #12 in this drawing. There are four different ones. GM has them plain, with fog lights only, with foglights and ONE tow hook (if you have adaptive cruise), and with fog lights and TWO tow hooks. I bought part number 22936496

The one I have for free local pick up has two fogs only.

i'm going to add fogs to the wifes burb eventually, but I believe hers has that piece already and the fog light area just has a plastic cover/insert.

I just measured the crap out of mine then used a dremel to cut it. I also had a grander plan. The inner parking sensors also were relocated.

Burb got a new windshield on Friday, and topped off the AC system after finding a bad seal on the Schrader valve Knock on wood, but i think she's now fully ready to be considered in full service, so being that i hate my wallet, time for the mods. Esky mirrors ordered, and will probably be getting Morimoto Esky tail lights for her as a Christmas present to myself and the wife

Been thinking of esky mirrors as well. Please take before and after pics. Did you order new or used?

I've got one Escalade mirror to put on, waiting for the right deal on the other side. The stock mirrors are absolutely atrocious for normal use and even worse while towing.

I bought used, they are already color matched but i might need to touch them up. $230 each on Ebay which was the best deal i could find for them. When i first started looking i was finding them for twice that price. Although it looks like back 6 years ago they were under $100 each. From the pictures i dug up on older threads, there is a huge difference in visibility. So it should be a good improvement in function, without losing any of the existing features. I mean i didn't buy an LTZ to not have features afterall...just surprised that there are a couple of things my truck has that the burb doesn't. but such is life
