Alternator whine - but its not the usual suspects....

I replaced the alternator with a reman on our 04 Tahoe and it whines also. Did the 04 Sierra recently as well with no noticeable whine.

I all can say is do that oem 220amp upgrade to them all haha. everything will be happier. it's only like 200$ new. auto parts store want almost that for cheap rebuilds.

the used one for 100$ on ebay I got was mint too.

I looked at some new ones on e bay but they were made in CHINA....so I bought a used one from a recycle place in AL...(they sell on ebay) Mine is an original equipment alternator...they list the miles the donor vehicle had on it. (and show a pic of the wrecked vehicle also.
I'm gonna just keep it for a spare as mine is working fine now.
