    Blackout chrome on Storm Gray Denali?

    Have this Storm Gray 2010 Denali. Considering toning down the chrome and wondering if anyone has or has seen this color with blackout chrome trim, mirror caps, grille and/or wheels? Wondering what parts would look best black. Some or all? And gloss or matte?

    I felt the same way. Only $130 for both. Look great. 1 year warranty. My Yukon has 211k on it. Going OEM didn’t make sense to me.

    Replaced the cloudy headlights with new ones (tried a cleaning kit first, it didn't work) and blacked out the red GMC logo front and back.

I'm leaning towards not, as last trans services was at 140k and I currently have no trans issues. My question is: should I just change the trans filter? Or is there some argument against that...

    Maybe the other 2 wheels that are fine ARE alloy. So how do you get paint to look like chrome? I thought that was almost impossible.

    I assumed these were chrome alloy but maybe not (I'm not knowledgeable enough about the difference in wheel types). Here's a better pic of the issue. It's definitely not tar or a substance over the chrome. It's chipping or scraping off.

    The Yukon is new to me but maintenance history does show service at a dealer. Your idea about the acid sounds reasonable but yes, odd that it’s only 2 wheels.

Records show the following done at 140k: "Automatic transmission serviced Transfer case serviced Rear differential serviced Front differential fluid flushed/changed" Should I have the trans serviced again?     I'd say that's the steal of the year if not decade. Post some pics please! Re: paint, I just bought GM OEM paint on ebay for my '10 Yukon (I only needed touchup) but you can also buy from a dealer (and pay top $).
