    I replaced the Bridgestones with Michelins. I would never give Goodyear a dime of my money unless it comes with the car. I had Forteras on my 06 Envoy Denali and they barely lasted 25k miles and had pretty much no grip in deep snow.

    My Chevy dealer always offers a loaner, especially if it is something hard broke, not intermittent. GMC dealer does not and their service department isn't that great anyway. A big reason why I would probably buy a Chevy before a GMC.

    Just make sure your rotors are not out of "alignment" to begin with by using an on-car brake lathe. I heard R1s are good, I went with EBC brakes on my Impala. Slotted only, drilled is mostly for looks.
