sway bar issues with end links

I think if you moved the shock you would really want to move the top and bottom the same so the shock travel wouldnt be altered by having it a diagonal. I think the end links are too short. I know they are supposed to be shorter to get the angle of the sway bar back to normal, but to me Id...

sway bar issues with end links

Thats exactly what my sway bar looks like with the endlinks. It is pushed as far over as yours and rubs on the shock. How much is yours lowered? Mine is only lowered 3" and it seems that they are way too short for a 3" drop, and also seems there is way too much of a bend. Its kind of...

sway bar issues with end links

I all ready threw the stock endlinks back on. I need to be driving the car so I couldn't leave the sway bar just hanging there. It doesn't look that bad, its just close to the panhard bracket, haven't driven it yet so Im not sure if its going to hit or not.

sway bar issues with end links

Ya, its basically pushed right into it on the passenger side. Also with how short the the endlinks are the sway bar is hitting up against the panhard right behind spare tire also. Im throwing on the stock sway bar links for now just to see if I can actually get everything bolted up and usable.

sway bar issues with end links

I dropped my 06 Yukon Denali XL with belltech 2/3 drop. The back is at 3" with the spacer in it. I have eibach sway bars that I installed at the same time of the drop. I got the new shorter end links from Tony also. I moved the bracket over 1" on the axle, and I had the sway bar mounting on the...

    Help! 2/3 drop riding rough

I actually just installed the same kit basically, and mine rides pretty rough also. Enough to make me think of putting the stock stuff back on. I was thinking maybe my autoride shocks are giving it a bad ride because I have no idea if they work. The ride was awesome before the lowering kit...

    help troubleshooting oil pressure

Ya I am sure that it was on properly. But anyways... My brother has a TBSS that has the same OPS and I swapped them today, and his made my gauge work and mine made his gauge not work. So I ended up buying one today at the parts store, and now the gauge works. Too bad I didnt check this earlier...

    help troubleshooting oil pressure

Alright, doing research I found that if I unplug the sensor and the gauge reads 80, the stepper motor would be bad. If I unplug the sensor and it stays at 0, the sensor would be bad. I unplugged the sender and the gauge stayed at 0. A year ago I bought a new AC delco sender and put it in...

    help troubleshooting oil pressure

Does anyone know if i just unplug the oil pressure sensor if it will make the gauge just read zero? Its driving me crazy going up and down and I would like to just get the gauge to read zero for now. Just want to make sure if I unplug it, it won't effect the actual oil pressure and the gauge...

    help troubleshooting oil pressure

Thats easy enough to get to the OPS and remove it and put a gauge on it and check that. Ill have to make some time in the next couple days to check it. If the oil pressure is fine with a mechanical gauge, what would be the cause of the dash gauge to be acting erratic?

    help troubleshooting oil pressure

I have a 2006 Denali XL, 145,000 miles. Everything runs and works great. When I bought it the oil pressure gauge was pegged to 80. Thought it was the oil pressure sensor, changed that with a new AC Delco part, and no change. The gauge would start acting erratic and go down and up and down...

    Buying a totaled Tahoe

I also am a body guy, and I agree with fiatdale and I wouldnt buy it, especially for that money. And I would love to see what you would do to put a used quarter on there. And I would love to see what a body shop would do with $500-$800 on that quarter panel. It would be more screwed up than it...

    Loaded 3/6

With the rear hatch, what did you do with the yukon 3rd brake light since its attached to the roof? Just unbolt it and plug the holes? Does the wire just connect from the escalade glass to the plug on the roof?

    What are these connectors?

no problem, was the module there that they plug in to? I cant tell in the picture if its there.

    What are these connectors?

Those look like the connections for the tailights(two seperate ones) and the bumper. The bracket on the inner quarter is where they should plug in to. I would assume you have no tail lights or plate lights on your bumper right now.

    Rear Frame Damage

I work at a body shop and pretty much a lot of frame damage can be fixed. Trailer hitches usually cause a lot more damage than if you didnt have one on there. But thats the way it goes. Are there any other body shops around in your area. It is ILLEGAL for insurance companies to steer you to...

    Spare Tire Help

You will have to fight with the spare tire to get it off the secondary latch. It really sucks but it is doable. The best thing to do and what I tell everyone to do with these body styles is to get the spare tire off any way you can. And then flip the spare tire over and tighten the cable back...

    Last Friday

Although I do agree with you that with the mileage sometimes aftermarket parts are good enough, I say go with OEM for most of it. Take it from someone who has put hundreds of these GMs together after collision, the aftermarket fenders, bumpers, grills, and lights are mostly junk. Not saying that...

    Last Friday

Even though it doesnt look that bad I am kind of surprised its still fixable even with the air bags deploying. Also, I would be very wary of taking it to a state farm preferred shop. It is illegal for insurance companies to tell you where to get it fixed(despite what they tell you) so make sure...
