    this is one of those times when you need a real hardware store, luckily we have one here in town, they carry dam near any size bolt, nut, etc simply because they are in the heart of america's food supply, full machine & fabrication shop the whole bit.     haah, when I had my 00 and needed a front diff a rebuild was $1200+ (way back), snatched a used one out of the junkyard (that looked like it had already been gone thru anyway) for $60 waaaaay ahead of the game, it lasted past 324k when I sold it, still saw it on the road a couple years later

    from what I understand it is basically just a different mostly trim package, 4wd, running boards, shocks, skid plate (however) the skid plate could vary from plastic to aluminum depending..... there are always different options depending on how it was ordered, tow package, trailer package...

    it doesn't do much at all in the daytime maybe you just are not seeing it, try using a piece of cardboard to cover the radio or cluster and adjust the dimmer

    dimming is usually affected by the sensor on the forward part of the rear view mirror on drivers side put your finger over it and the lights will dim most likely would not be the cause for flickering or any other weird stuff though, unless you had a air freshener or a sticker or something...

    for whatever it's worth also mechman sells a little device that you plug the 2 pin connector into, then you can run a old school 4 pin alternator with just a 12v turn on signal. bypasses the whole mess
