I am assuming this is a 2500 diesel?
I dont do a lot with them, but my fleet is 100% diesel... Semi Trucks.. a bit different.
It sounds like air is getting into the fuel system, and the cummins is repriming it at each restart.
But if its a Gasser... Its almost as thou it lost cam/crank sensor...
They brought the TIPM to market late MY2004... And it has not worked right since.
I would have thought NHTSA would have gotten involved on it, and made a mandatory recall, since it can affect if the AirBag works, the brakes work, and the Power Steering work...
But it is still in production...
I thought all EV projects from Ford and GM were cancelled?
