    this. my GTO (ls1) does 38psi cold start, hot idle is around 20 but the PSI increases 10psi per 1000rpm through the rev range. as long as pressure rises with RPM you should be fine.

    good rule of thumb is 20-40psi at idle (hot/cold) and rising by ~10psi per 1000rpms. the motor in my GTO was setup a bit loose and it does 38psi cold and drops to around 16-18 at hot idle but by 7000rpm its at 75ish. its been running that way for ~8 years without issues.
