    Help with Distributor

    No way to get pics, its the rearmost screw holding the cap to the distributor. There's barely any room if you're just changing out the cap. Had to do it all by feel while I was stretched across the top of the engine. Tbruz

    Redneck fix in place! I got a #8-32 x 1" bolt, with an oversized #8 washer and a square nut through the back dizzy cap tab. The bolt came through the bottom of the plate and the washer/nut captures enough of the distributor plate that I got the bolt/cap tightened. Car starts and runs smooth...

    truck is leaking AGAIN!!!!

    Its the heater mixer valve. Delco P/N 12380318 about $35 from the dealership. Tbruz it's unlikely that the valve is actually the problem, most likely is the hoses and/or clamps but while you're in there with an empty cooling system, might as well change all that out anyways.
