I know its not a tahoe/esky etc... but lookin for input.

Ever since I was a kid I have wanted a high hp 996 awd turbo Porsche done in snow camo. I always said it would be my gumball rally car. I think it'll be sweet on a 4th gen. If its fast enough, it can pull anything off lol

    AWD dyno in OR/WA area

Hey guys, just discovered this section of the forum. I was wondering if you guys know of any awd dynos that fit our big of vehicles in Oregon or Washington? I know English and PRE have awd dynos but Im concerned that my Denali (non-xl) is too long for it. I've read some people would disconnect...

    New Purchase

I vote tint, intake, tune and led lights inside and out. It'll look nice and drive nice until you figure out what you really want to do.

Pole: what to do with $3k

I vote 454 if its not your daily, then 6L, then 383 in that order

    Thinking of buying....

That thing is super clean. FWIW, in Oregon you cant really get a Tahoe/Yukon of any generation for under $4,000, regardless of miles or condition, unless its mechanic special. I took months looking for a GMT400 that was decent all around for $5k until I found my NBS Denali for the same price...

    About20's FI build (slow build)

The main differences I believe were that it used a different and better grade aluminum and that wing. I can imagine a denser better aluminum would reduce heat soak but no I dont know about that wing.

How many miles do you have?

@Fosscore The last thing I need right now is another toy lol

Keep that quadrasteer forever. A qs barn-door xl is on my bucket list.

    About20's FI build (slow build)

Appreciate it man  Apparently an engine builder cut apart LS3 and LSA heads to see the difference and found that the LS3 heads are made from a much softer metal and that the LSA heads have a wing thats for emissions.

    About20's FI build (slow build)

Are you going to use LSA heads, LS3 or aftermarket? Cant wait to see the results.

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

This past week I finished my full led interior with a 194 flank bulb in the center console and a type 74 bulb for my ashtray/cup holder light. I also did a engine, t-case, diffs fluid change and added my TA Performance diff cover with the carrier bearing stud upgrade.

    G2 diff covers

So I finally got to it when I did a complete fluid change. I also added carrier bearing studs because it was already off anyway. It IS NOT a direct bolt-in affair like I was told even though it is the low-profile one. I had to notch my panhard bar and grind down one of the fins a little to make...

    R1 concepts rotors/Hawk pads?

I did the nnbs front upgrade (part #19176794 & 19176793) with r1 premier slotted rotors and hawk lts pads. While I was at it I did ss brake lines as well and filled it with stoptech high temp 600 degree fluid. I love it, night and day difference. I dont think I have ever depressed the pedal past...

    03 Denali procharged with 250k

You could daily a 408 easily, but it all depends how your engine is set up and most importantly the tune. If your cam profile is tailored to all low end grunt I could see it getting a little violent acting while daily driving it, but on the contrary you dont want to be a slug till your top end...

    03 Denali procharged with 250k

A 4.03 bore and factory stroke makes a 370. If you want to go fully forged a 408 is a great displacement for boost. Don't get me wrong a 370 is a great engine but if you're set on buying a new crank might as well add some extra cubes imo. The factory crank should handle about as much power the...

    03 Denali procharged with 250k

My previous post still stands. Headers you'll be fine. A rebuild kit wouldn't be a terrible idea if you want to turn up the boost, piece of mind alone. If thats the route you choose I would recommend to bore it out to 4.030 and put arp bolts in the rods since its all coming out anyways.

    03 Denali procharged with 250k

I would do headers for sure. Im not sure about the smaller pulley though, guess it depends how much boost you net. Either way, a re-tune would be optimal. I don't see the whole thing self destructing. How much power are you pushing right now?

So I hit a deer and im replacing my bumper and grill assy

Heres what you asked for but with a factory grill. IMO all denali's should have their grill shell colormatched. http://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/threads/03-white-denali-pics-new-camera.21426/

    G2 diff covers

Got the girdle today. Its really a work of art. Will install within the next couple weeks and attach pictures. For those who are interested in buying, figure out whether you are metric or standard beforehand or go to the hardware store and buy the correct stainless steel bolts, as the ones they...

    G2 diff covers

Most likely I will go high-compression n/a stroker first off. When I get bored with that I'll end up buying an l92 or something with bigger bore potential and go supercharged. From everything Ive read, there really is no point to build the 4l60E especially in big heavy trucks like we own...

    G2 diff covers

It is a much bigger diff cover and wont clear the panhard bar, except maybe if you are lifted a lot with a custom panhard bar. I wish I could make it work because I like the design and magnetic dipstick feature. I ordered 1807A. It is their low profile version which is necessary for our...

    G2 diff covers

Called G2, none fit. Ordered TA performance girdle with the ARP carrier bearing stud kit. The F-body guys swear by them until they go 9"/12-bolt
