    Heat will work if u dont have torches try mapp gas fro the hardware store or impact gun but probably can't straight shot. But you will have to get a o2 thread chaser.

    I am wrong take the five bolts and pull the long axle housing. No need to split case to check right side either. If any tabs are broken, they go behind adjuster and adjuster has to be driven out to replace tab I us yukon gear for parts and all ways replace left adjuster no matter what.

    Pull driver side seal and tab will probably fallout but have to split case to check pass side. Case is easy to split.

    Yes rebuild it is very problematic breaks off retaining tab and breaks adjuster . take apart to know what it needs. 20s and 6.0 make short life of them.

    So I just got off I95 at cruise set at 75 with air aid jr. I can not even hear my intake at all. Just some exhaust. Loaded down with a lot of weight!

    They us same air box on the duramax i doubt you will loss any power just pop out the big piece of plastic from fender side of box.

    I have same truck 05 denali xl. With Gibson 3 inch exhaust airaid jr( stock box but popped out plastic piece of box. At 75 can just hear exhaust. And the gibson system is not very loud.

    Need to read scanner data when it is running poorly. Almost sounds like mass air.
