    Watts link installed

This is fantastic! You run custom length bars or just standard? Does it clear the sway bar? I’ve been looking at relocating my panhard bar, but this is much better.

What is the one thing you hate most about your Tahoe or Yukon and what did you do to fix it???

Torsion Bars...going to try a custom QA-1 coilover setup I'm working on.

    Fuel pump upgrades??

I had to modify the crap out of my bucket for my aeromotive 340. Been running it for about 6 months with no issues except it's kill my fuel pressure regulator. New return style regulator going on this weekend with my other mods. Let us know what you hear from racetronix.

Finally got 5/7 on my Denali

YES, YES, YES! Looks killer. Man, I'm rubbing at full lock with a 3/5 on 285/45/22s. I was going to go 275/40/22 but got a deal I couldn't pass on these tires.

Refurbish existing headlights & turn lights

Have any photos of your lenses? That'll help see how aggressive of a paper you'll need. I like to start around 500/600 unless they are really bad. I haven't gone lower than 400 though. If you want them really smooth you can then do 800, then 1200/2000. Polishing compound to work out all the...

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I keep the plexi rainxed. It actually stays pretty clean. I can also remove them quickly and clean them when needed. I'll snap some pics later this week. Truck has to be in gear for the halos to work.

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

They are really oxidized. I've gone down to 400 grit, and barely made a dent. I really want the black with diamond reflectors anyway. I'll roll them as is for now, but I'm done sanding and polishing these turds.

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

They are hazed over. I've polished them numerous times. No water vapor inside. Yeah, they are plexi covers. Ive never liked the open look of the valance. No plans on factory fog lights. I like these little guys. I don't remember the brand of the lights. Cheapos from eBay. We started clear...

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Added new driving lights. The halos are on when the truck is in drive (wired to the old DRLs), the driving lights come on with the headlights. While I was there, I had to drop the bumper valance to install the lights, so I cleaned it up, prepped it and painted it bumper/trim black. Also rewired...

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Good question, I don't remember why I didn't flip them. One of the ends may have been rubbing inverted. I had them in that way to start, but flipped them back. it was late, dark, cold, and just needed it back together. lol

New rear shocks for my lowered suburban. Wanted single adjustable, but we had these laying around the shop.

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

JBA exhaust sound clips. Traffic was louder than at idle. Lol Quick drive by and stop. Let our neighbors know, but still don't want to fly by.

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

JBA 3" exhaust installed. Love the sound much better. Even with the longitudes, it's pretty subtle versus what I had before. Hope to snag some video at lunch. The Tip sticks out way too far for me, so I'll be cutting it off and either moving it back, or getting something else that sits more...

    I second that.

    2004 Tahoe exhaust

Longtube headers, replace stock muffler with a borla X1. LOUD! I had to add a Flowmaster 10 series as a resonator in the back. I got the mufflers dirt cheap and got to install them for free at work. Just got in the JBA 3" exhaust yesterday that I'll put on this weekend.

    2-3 Inch Drop

You know, it's been a while since I did my spindles. I think you are right that I just loosed the torsion keys, didn't remove the keys. You certainly don't have to remove the bar, but have to relieve the tension on it.

    2-3 Inch Drop

The shock extenders are really for keeping the shock at a proper angle so it's more effective. Even if you use drop shocks, they require the extenders.

    2-3 Inch Drop

The keys aren't bad at all. You can rent the tool you need for free from a parts store near you. Once you it do it, you realize how simple and easy they are to work with.
  22. shakedown067

    2-3 Inch Drop

You have to loosen the keys no matter how you drop it. Spindles, lower control arms, drop keys, they all require removal of the key/torson bar to release the tension.

    2-3 Inch Drop

I'm running 285/45/22, spindles, 1" drop with stock keys. Rides really nice, but soft for big dips at highway speeds. I'm looking into stiffer or adjustable shocks to cure that. Bump stops are long gone, so that may fix her bottoming out in those conditions as well.
  24. shakedown067

    2-3 Inch Drop

I have 2" spindles and turned down the keys slightly. I should have just done the 3" control arms but didnt think I'd go that low without bagging it. So with that, it's a VERY soft ride, and you can bottom out easily with the keys. Just wanted to let you know the effect of keys. It'll ride like...
