My experience is the wet cells work best but it comes at a price. The charging systems on these will drain then they go into overdrive mode. I am on the second battery (I think-came with it- 12/17 - i know jinxed myself)) but it often charges to 14+ V.
The Toyota 2.2 was a known sludge maker of an engine. Not to say they weren't great engines. But I saw plenty of them require new cams.
I have 166k on my 6.2 Denali. Other than some clatter on start it runs like a top.
The 6.2 is the EXACT longblock for the Camaro LT1 just with different intake, exhaust and tuning. It is a heck of an engine....it makes 455 hp and 460 ft lbs in the Camaro.
First of all the 2022 Sequoia get horrible MPG.... I mean 13 in the City. I get better mpg with my 2012 Yukon XL because the Toyota V8 is a pig of an engine. The LS engine is extremely efficient.
The 3.0 Duramax has way better MPG if thats your thing. The torque it has is amazing according to...
I like the 900’s but the broken dash is a real drag. I put the dash cap on mine and I’m pretty much satisfied with it. Overall it’s a very comfortable vehicle and at the price I paid it’s really great.
The 6.2 is the same long block asthe camaro LT1. Changing the oil at 1500 miles is a good idea. Use a full synthetic withe the new oil spec and a AC oil filter.
Interesting on the Ohm resistor. I need to change the struts on mine- they are OE and 165k miles. On big bumps I really notice them but this SUV is my main ride for a while....
You need to put the resonator/flapper back on to get rid of the drone from the cylnder change. Alternatively you can try the Range device which keeps it in V8 mode. But you lose mpg....
The dashskin works for me. I don't even really notice it. I really enjoy the vehicle and at the price I paid its a win win for me....I am not OCD about it....
