Dunno. The GLS550 has all of the luxury trappings with none of the cheesiness that comes along with an escalade. But I’d be lying if I said the interior pictures of the esky aren’t good looking. Looking forward to driving one.
Expedition interior is awful. Not new standard yukon awful but awful. Denali interior looks great.
Navi/expys are entering their 4th model year so it’s, at best, mid cycle. In 2 years it will likely be updated or at least have a major refresh..unless they let it languish like they did last...
Nope.
First, the new model hasn’t been released so it has no success yet. I said that if it can’t tow and looks terrible then it will need brand/blind loyalty to succeed.
You said GM had “decades of dominance”. I noted that dominating in sales doesn’t mean you are “the best”.
Then you...
Another swing and a miss.
You’ve now made my point for the SECOND time lol. High sales numbers don’t mean the “best” product.
Thanks for playing!

Seems it is since you illustrated the point I was making perfectly.
Commercial success doesn’t mean something is “better” than something else.
Just means it happens to be more appealing to teenage girls or soccer moms.
Yeah odd. Maybe they are just being conservative since it’s their first full size SUV with IRS...not sure. Too bad because without looks, towing numbers (and blind loyalty) is going to have to carry it.
For $40k you should be able to find a 16+ denali with tow package and under 55k miles.
The 8 speed can be clunky but if you give it a good test drive you can rule out any major issues before you buy.
Agreed. The escalade will remain the choice of the garish Rolex wearing slicked hair crowd as well as rappers and of course, livery...even before they see them in person. Conformity and consistency is key to that demo. They MUST go with the herd.
But for the other two it remains to be seen...
Lol. I hear you on the ride. New rovers and lx come out this year and expy/Navigator are “only” 3 years old but you’re right, there isn’t anything that’s “new” except for the MB GL (which is pretty awesome) The sequoia/land cruiser/LX are just really ready for a redesign.
The next 3 years are...
That mid cycle refresh 4 years ago was on a vehicle that was last redesigned over 12 years ago. It feels newer than your premier because that’s a design that came out over 6 years ago and wasn’t refreshed. They are both dated. Either way, all that matters is that you like it.
I believe there...
Interesting choice. I can’t bring myself to consider the LX until they do a thorough refresh. Still a solid reliable vehicle I believe though, best of luck.
Denali ride with MRC is awful IMO. I special ordered mine with non 20” wheels to add some rubber to the jarring ride which helped a bit...
If ride quality is important to you and you are only able to consider GM products, go for the escalade since you can dial out the brashness. If you aren’t...
Yeah I get that I just thought maybe they’d get rid of deactivation after the shuddering and lifter issues. They can both likely be disabled with a OBD plugin like the current gen.
Looks like the 6.2 still has cylinder deactivation? For some reason I thought they were dumping that for auto start / stop...not sure what is preferable...

Fine. Fair.
Ignore is on. Will it will stop him from stalking me and begging people for pictures of fords? Hard to say.
Either way...
Thank you.

Uh, you asked my about buying a ford product. You have an expedition with transmission problems. I’m saying I would consider a ford product but curious if you got yours sorted out. Simple on topic question.
Why are you deflecting?
