Wagner thermoquiet pads and oem style rotors have worked well for me on my 04. Never hear a peep from them and stop well. Rockauto for best pricing, or O'Reillys if you want the lifetime warranty.
Check the drain hole for the condensor, where it goes through the floorboard. On mine it was a rubber elbow sticking out below the drier, on the firewall. Mine was plugged, i took a bath when it unclogged lol.
Actually, the pulley is the same but the higher amp alt is actually physically larger, with a bigger case. Uses the same mounting brackets tho. So the pulley on the bigger alternator sits farther up and to the right, looking at the front of the engine, relative to where the pulley would sit with...
Youll have to get the belt for the smaller alt if he put a 105 amp one in it. Its shorter. When that alt fails, then replace it with a 130 and the proper belt for that alt.
Well, its disc...so nothing could have moved unless something broke or you have a caliper trying to lock up. I cant think of anything in the rear that would actuate when already at a stop with brakes applied, only pushing harder. You sure you didnt roll forward?
Tomorrow when I get in the truck I'll try to remember to post a picture of the install sheet and parts list of that helps. Kept it in the glove box I think. Just to double check my numbers.
I used crc brand spray silicone lube, marine grade because it's what we carry where I work. Honestly I'm sure any brand would achieve the same results.
The 2000-2006 models took a different part number than 07-up. The tube is shaped different and different maf. The part number I bought was 17801346. Found it on eBay, 225 shipped brand new. It was a steal. I don't know if its still available from gm.
Might be a dumb comment but is the plug in on your phone full of pocket lint or crap that could be causing a bad connection with whichever cable you use? Unless a wire has come loose in the dash and bumps make it make contact idk. I'm pretty sure power ports draw power directly from the fuse...
Its been a few months and hasn't come back. It took a few times of spraying them before it completely went away as well. I had just replaced my control arms and when i went to spray the bushings, I noticed an accumulation of (rubber?) built up on the bushings themselves. If yours are cracked or...
Could be two separate issues. Squeaking could be control arm bushings/strut bushings/sway bar. Clicking, if it didnt change from before to after the new cv axle, is probably the hub assembly.
My 04 had a harness in the back storage compartment for adding a non-factory brake controller. Looked similar to that one. If the wires are blue, red, white, and black, its for a controller.
This site generally has really good instructions.

I feel like when making a craigslist ad, be honest but dont do the whole pros and cons bs. Just talk about the truck and its options/features. If someone calls who is interested and askes about any problem areas, be honest. If it has a leak, say so. If it needs an o2 sensor then say so. But you...
Id look back there and see what it has for wiring. I dont think the non-tow package ones had provisions for a 7 pin connector w/brakes etc. My factory tow package 04 has a quick connect behind the 7 pin plug in, and it could be electrical taped out of the way somewhere back there. Mine also had...
