    2008 Yukon Denali, 135k miles, part 2!!

I live in the great white north and my go-to friends are my Milwaukee brushless M18 1/2 impact (1100ft/lb?), Port-A-Torch set, and the Mayhew Shake N Break air hammer socket adapter set. I recently started to use the Shake N Break 1/2 and 3/8 and they are PRICELESS. While it’s hammering the...

    Heated seats intermittently don't work

Any issues with the power mirrors or windows? The door wiring harnesses in these are terrible and fail. The opening and closing motions end up fracturing some of the wires internally. I’ve replaced two sets in two of my ‘09. Both trucks had odd intermittent issues with the window and mirror...

Will a Kenwood or Rockville powered Sub fit inside the Center console? NNBS 07-13

I scoured the internets on this and I can’t find any photos. If I pull up the center console will either the Rockville SS8P or Kenwood KSC-SW11 fit in there? I saw a thread with photos for the 99-06 Tahoe but nothing for the NNBS. I am not looking to bump like the boys in the hood I just want...

Anyone grab power from their rear view mirror for a camera?

The power wire seems to hand accessories up there just fine. I’m using it to power a 12v to 5v micro USB converter for my dash cam and also send 12v to my radar detector. It’s nice to have everything automatically power up when starting up and shutting down automatically too. No loose wires...

    Well Hell Just Froze Over

My dad would do that with his Buick Lucerne. Thing sounded very good.

Woman took my car... civil issue... trying to get it back

Get a notarized letter from your bank showing ownership (proof it’s in your name with them), registration, two $100 bills. Find a wrecker driver. They are everywhere.

Growing up doesn't have to suck

Do you still have the box? How much for your old one? I hit a crow last year and my JB weld job looks like hell.

    Well Hell Just Froze Over

No wheel caps? A Christmas tree of warning lights as it idles? Unreal. Guess what boys? Honda is Abilene has a special power that most of us don’t: they could get financing for a homeless man. Someone will buy this for $3900, pay for the extended warranty and GAP insurance and for the...

Woman took my car... civil issue... trying to get it back

I’m assuming you already called the Police due to how you titled this thread and they didn’t help you. If the title and registration are in your name then IT IS YOUR CAR. This is not a residence. A stranger had zero right to your car. Is there more to this story? Bring some tough friends with...

    Transmission flare fitting at radiator

Interesting that they made a sealer for connections that sealants are not supposed to be used with.

Very high mileage Tahoe for sale

Could look around too. I just found a jet black 2016 Tahoe 4x4 139,000 miles ex-police, CLEAN, for $10.9 USD. Found another ex police but this one is extra nice with an LT interior (auto climate control) and nice wheels. 118,000 miles. Asking $19.

    --- Photos: SPOTTER'S THREAD (post up all years/models) ---

Look at the mirrors. It’s clearly based off a 90’s Tahoe 2dr or Yukon. This is amazing. I’m curious what a GMT900 2-dr Tahoe would look like.

GM should bring the pewter color back...

I hate GM’s shade issues. I have a Silver Birch bed with a Pewter cab lol. Can’t tell when its all dirty but when it’s clean and the sun is shining it’s ridiculous. I can’t decide if I’m going to paint the cab SB or paint the bed Pewter.

Very high mileage Tahoe for sale

What was the asking price if it? Any engine or trans work? It could be a great deal if the price is right. I’m guessing it’s in the mod teens?

When Did You Replace Your Ball Joints and Control Arms?

Here are some genuine UCA’s from a GM Assembly plant or warehouse. This seller buys all OEM surplus so it’s none of the aftermarket ACDelco stuff; it’s the actual parts that go on GM vehicles at the plants. https://www.ebay.com/itm/192927265982

    Transmission flare fitting at radiator

The issue here is if the sealant you purchased will react with what ever it is sealing; permatex can get confusing as they sell 100 sealants for the same application. I actually use EZ Turn that is fuel and oil resistant and used for aircraft applications.

The Unicorn - Game Warden Green - Who's Got One?

Must have been state owned? Forest Service Law Enforcement and NPS Rangers usually have all white with a thick green horizontal stripe and “LAW ENFORCEMENT” written in the stripe. Of course the logo is on the doors. Extremely difficult jobs to get too.

    Transmission flare fitting at radiator

Try some Permatex No. 3 Form-A-Gasket on the threads and reinstall after cleaning the female threads with a towel wet with brake cleaner and then a dry towel. Before doing any of that the o-ring in the fitting could be kaput.

    Anyone use parts from 1aauto?

Buying ACDelco, Motorcrack, or Mopar does NOT guarantee OEM quality. Remember guys those are just brand names now. Yeah like fifty years ago if you bought and ACD part it was likely OEM from the factory. Not anymore. Yes, the OEM’s use very high quality parts from all of the major suppliers BUT...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Probably due to multiple issues but I bet that one of them is that all of the oem warranties have expired thus there is no necessity.

210K miles on 2008 Tahoe. Replacing O2 sensors

Seems like if “lots of fuel mileage will be wasted” then there should be a MIL or noticeable reading.
