Out of all the vehicles I've owned I can say with confidence GM was the least of my issues.All my ford units were pretty decent except the F150's where I had transmission issues.Anything dodge/jeep/FCA is a total write off...pure garbage.

I simply don't understand why my lifter on the left bank of the engine will only randomly stay stuck when it's humid (cold) out? It won't happen super cold or when it's warm out? I was so hoping to get another year out of this engine before having to change it.I guess at 400000km I can't...
If this is your problem it's about 6hrs if you have 4x4 but I'd start at sender first.I had no oil pressure and lifter noise so totally different symptoms,but mine started like yours

Mine started that last winter with a slight lifter clicking.In spring it got worse to wear the oil pressure light would come on at startup ! Changed the oil pump and now it reads between 60-70psi cold and drops to 40 warm and this is on an engine with 230000 miles on it 2000 Yukon XL 5.3l

I own a 2000 Yukon XL and started having symptoms of a failing fuel pump.With that said when I go to order one off rockauto, their are two product codes on every pump (TDB or TDC) ? Anyone know how to identify what's on the truck without having to dismantle everything first? I gotta try driving...
