There’s a guy on here that provides pretty good updates…take a look at a couple pages and you‘ll figure out how they are asking

Granger also has a Ram dealership and they are 4% under invoice on Rams…similar pricing (percentage is slighty different) on all other Chrysler models
GM needs to revamp their ordering process…if you’re on a forum you probably understand the process…everyone else is rolling the dice hoping...
and the topic that really hasn't been addressed - MSRP increases...will play a role as well.
Just noticed that GM has started to implement mid-year price increases (guess you could say end of the model year increases) - which will allow for the 2023MY increases to be even larger.
agreed. but the topic is revolving around when the mark up on both used and new Tahoes/Yukons will evaporate - not just pull back some...even if a "used" Tahoe isn't bringing $10-12-15k over MSRP, any trim over a LS/LT is still going to command a premium (over MSRP) for at a minimum the next 12...
understand what you are saying…that the auctions prices may be coming down…but if they are, the dealers definitely aren’t passing those savings on to the consumer….
there are several 22 Tahoe Z71s within a reasonable distance of my location (some with a couple hundred miles, some with a few...
yep - sounds like it was either never actually ordered (the first step) or even worse - it was ordered and sold out from under you.
In your first post says that it was submitted but not accepted by GM - so that means 2/4 was when it was first entered.
Agree that they may have just been waiting...
Yep…agree all the way around, GMs process definitely could use some fine tuning, and then you are lucky if a dealer puts forth any additional effort. I understand the dealer wanting to enter the order, but the conversation needs to be had at that point if someone is ordering when a known...
Bought AT4 Yukon with the premium plus package in Dec 2020 - currently has 41k miles on it...hopefully will be rid of it in the next couple weeks..below is everything it's been in the shop for...
- rear end control module replaced
- airbag light recall
- water trapped in sunroof (this took...
stopped and looked at 22 Z71 with 5k miles on it - dealer was asking $79k, I asked the sales guy what the sticker was - $66-68K? he said nah - like $72k...I pulled the VIN off their website and the sticker was $64k and change...base Z71 with a sunroof and the manual second row buckets...
so...
you may have placed your order based on the constraint list at the time of your order, but if there were 11 Denali XLs in front of you and they only were allocated 1, then you're out of luck for that round. Honestly would be surprised if it was actually 11 XLs in front of you which wouldn't...
These are all on ordered units...
Mark Dodge in Lake Charles, LA...that % is on a 2500/3500 (which don't have any rebates)...think the half tons are somewhere in the same percentage, or more when you add in any rebates (essentially starting below or at employee pricing)
They also discount...
agree with this sentiment...seems some are actually getting Tahoes/Yukons bought below sticker, but I'd guess those are the exceptions. Have two on order, one at sticker (the one we actually want) and the other at supplier price. Had initially planned on buying the supplier price one first and...
My experience with deposits...
Local Chevy/GMC dealer (probably in the top ten in sales in the state though) - no deposit required for order (pricing at sticker)
Chevy dealer 30 miles away in "bigger" city...$1000 deposit, refundable (pricing at sticker)
GMC dealer 30 miles away in "bigger"...
just like anything - those that have the air ride and never have any problems out of it will speak highly of it...I fall in the category of having it and although (so far) haven't had any specific problems with, our next one will not have air ride....currently have a 2021 AT4
Have two on order at separate dealers - both have TPWs and neither dealer has provided any information as the orders have been changing stages...thankfully only one of them required a deposit. The dealer that took the deposit literally said, "we'll let you know when it comes in".
The aspect I didn't see mentioned is how much higher can/will the MSRPs continue to climb? Thankfully I really haven't seen mid-year price increases so far on the Tahoes/Yukons...
Bought two Ram trucks over the past year...a 2021 2500 hemi decently equipped (although its a tradesman) that...
We have a 2021 Yukon AT4 with the premium plus package - so all the bells and whistles.... have a couple Tahoes on order now spec'd out almost $10k cheaper...getting away from air ride, sunroofs and auto steps.
Now a lot of the safety stuff will be on the tahoe, but as others have mentioned...
About the only way to get the supplier discount in this market is to have an established relationship with a dealer…any random dealer selling Tahoes/Yukons at supplier price (using a bonafide control number) would probably have several hundred orders in their waiting list.
we have two on order...
Should have no impact….the constraints apply to orders not officially accepted yet, which if yours is at 3000, its been accepted and should have a TPW (target production week).
Definitely more to this story…apparently the buyer had already exported several vehicles and he was on a “do not sell to” list. Not saying the dealership had the right to do it, but seems both parties have some baggage
