My dealership keeps saying I am on the next order. Heck when is the next order. So frustrating.

They might not have an allocation for one. How long has it been?My dealership keeps saying I am on the next order. Heck when is the next order. So frustrating.
Called chevy today (instead of using the chat) and I (surprisingly) connected with a very nice woman who told me that it is now on a train headed for the rail yard in Walkerton, NC and is scheduled to arrive there on 3/25. She was wonderful.
My dealer emailed me about 20 mins later and told me "they have no new information". Worthless.
I've noticed hit or miss getting an event code provided. I was provided one the first time when I did Chevy Chat and I never asked. Since I have asked and have not gotten one person to tell me it....and I have a TPW of 3/28.Finally my salesman texted today and said my order got picked up for production but no TPW yet. When I checked with the Chevy chat they said the same thing. So I asked what event code am I at. She said we don’t give that information out because it’s not always correct and it’s best you keep in touch with the dealership. Funny because last week they gave me an event code 1100
My dealer won't tell me anything and I have a TPW.Have two on order at separate dealers - both have TPWs and neither dealer has provided any information as the orders have been changing stages...thankfully only one of them required a deposit. The dealer that took the deposit literally said, "we'll let you know when it comes in".
Doesn’t surprise me. It’s frustrating. Seriously can’t get a straight answer out of anyone. If I didn’t put a deposit down I would just buy something else. I have always drove a truck and I see plenty of them at dealerships. My dealer won't tell me anything and I have a TPW.
I don't get their strategy to be honest.
The person I spoke to at Chevy said a lot of people cancel their orders after theyve been accepted because dealers don't tell them the order was ever accepted.
