    S10 (truck/blazer) Body Mounts

Does anybody here have a s10 (truck or blazer)? I need to see the dimensions of the body mounts. The only thing I need to know is how far down does the top bushing come down on the metal cup (i.e. is it even, over hang, or recessed)? To see what I'm talking about you have to take a body mount...

    **WELL, it's lower...need 2 b lower tho...

Thanks guys! Your rides look good as well. I'm suprised its not lower too. That's why I did all of that to get it where it is now. I guess it just sits higher than most others for some reason.

    **WELL, it's lower...need 2 b lower tho...

Well first things first...Jones, your Yukon looks good (and low)! Austin, I have to say that I liked your other rims better (just my taste though). My sig pic is from a long time ago. A lot has changed since then. The last time I measured I was sitting around 32.25" with a 32.4" tire. I...

    **WELL, it's lower...need 2 b lower tho...

I do right here along with a body drop...The only thing is it seems like mine sits higher (considering what I have done) than what everybody else says theirs sit at and I don't know why. My drivers side key is cranked all of the way up and my passengers is all of the way down to help level the...

    Re-VHT

Just scuff/sand the clear so the VHT can adhere. There isn't any need to sand the clear off.

    Bumper Painting problems!!!!

I would stay around 400-600 grit, 200 is VERY rough. It shouldn't take too much time to smooth it out.

Just sand it down smooth then prep and paint.

    DJM arms

Yes, get new front shocks. I tried to use a stock type of shock and the mounting part that bolts to the control arm broke off of the shock. It was probably due to no rubber to help damper the shock.

    DJM arms

Yes, unless they changed the mounting point it takes an eye while the stock shocks are forked. I could never find any cross references from the DJM shocks. At the time, when I was looking, none of the shock companies had any of the shock specs (i.e. compressed/extended lengths and mounting types).

    Popping noise in front end

It might be a ball joint, they typically pop when they have gone bad.

    Black on Billet or not?

What about painting the section between the head lights and bumper lights black or color match to leave the center section the original brushed aluminum? I think that would look really good and different! This is horrible picture editing but you get the idea.

    Spohn Panhard Bar, no brackets??

Thanks Alex! I don't even have that wire bracket looking thing on mine. The bracket I was referring to was the little metal one that clamps the hose and attaches to the differential cover. After rereading your original post I realized you got rid of it for the hose clamps. I have the DJM...

    Spohn Panhard Bar, no brackets??

I'm not sure what you are referring to on that.... Right now I have mine zip tied along the panhard bar and on the passenger side it bows out at the exhaust and rubs on it. It might be inevitable due to how low I am which would require getting the exhaust routed differently.

    Spohn Panhard Bar, no brackets??

I guess one from the very back showing left to right. I know on my passenger side the cable is touching the exhaust so I really need to do something soon.

Alex, do you have any picures at a distance of the metal bracket?

Set of 275/55/20 or close to it

I'm looking for a good set of winter tires (not purely winter but something that is good for winter). Maybe an A/T or something of the like. I don't want to spend too much as winters in Texas aren't too bad and my other wheels will be put back on. So if someone has any to sell or can lead me...

    Hide Antenna Mod

I was thinking of getting a long peice of wire and fold it in half then solder the ends to a ring terminal. I would twist it to create a helix up the whole length then place it under the weather stripping as mentioned. Making a helix should maximize reception. I've been planning on doing this...
